The Royal Majesty Adesoji Kehinde Oladepo, Akinrinsa II, the Salu of Edunabon, has described the road projects embarked upon by the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Jackson Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke as an ingredient of development across the State.
HRM Adesoji Kehinde Oladepo stated this in Edunabon while welcoming journalists to his palace for a briefing on the Edunabon road tarred by Governor Ademola Adeleke, on Tuesday, in Edunabon.
The Salu of Edunabon, who could not hide his joy over the road project, described it as a welcome development on behalf of the Salu-in-council, the Edunabon Elders, youths, and the entire community of Edunabon.
The Monarch stated further that the new Edunabon tarred road that links Tonkere among other villages has been abandoned for over 30 years.
He recalled that this time last year when Governor Adeleke showed an intention to construct the bridge leading to the road, he (Salu) pleaded with Governor Adeleke for the new tarred road which Governor Ademola Adeleke in his magnanimity approved and which has come to reality today.
The Salu of Edunabon, HRM Adesoji Kehinde Oladepo Akinrinsa II affirmed that Imole also shines in the city of Edunabon.
While commending Governor Ademola Adeleke and his team for the wonderful job done, he charged the contractor handling the road project to work in tandem with Governor Adeleke's quality road plan to make the road last as expected.
The Salu of Edunabon appreciated sons and daughters of Ife North Local Government who helped in making the project a reality such as the Deputy Speaker Osun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Akinyode and Special Adviser to the Governor, Hon. Mrs Moji Omisore and Hon Abiodun Ojo Fafa among others.
The monarch, while asking for solar lights on the road project, therefore asked for more roads, saying that Edunabon is a food basket in Osun due to its links to several towns and villages.
HRM Adesoji Kehinde Oladepo Akinrinsa II, assured the people of Edunabon that he will always liaise with the people in authority to bring development to Edunabon.
