The Forum of Edunabon Sons and Daughters, at home and abroad, has congratulated the Salu of Edunabon, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adesoji Kehinde Oladepo, Akinrinsa II, on his appointment as Vice-Chairman of the Osun State Council of Obas.
In a congratulatory message issued by Dr Gbenga and Princess Dorcas Amusan Fagborun, MBE, the forum expressed happiness over the development, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of the monarch’s contributions to Edunabon.
They described the appointment as a fitting recognition of his achievements on the throne, particularly in community development, peaceful coexistence and the promotion of Yoruba cultural heritage.
The forum reaffirmed its support for the Salu of Edunabon, expressing confidence in his leadership and commitment to the continued development of the community.
It added that the people of Edunabon were proud of Oba Oladepo for his representation of the community both within and outside the country.
The forum also expressed appreciation to Gov. Ademola Adeleke for appointing the monarch to the position, commending the governor’s administration and its contributions to the development of traditional institutions in Osun.
It congratulated the entire sons and daughters of Edunabon on the monarch’s appointment, expressing optimism that his new position would further promote the interests and development of the community.
