Omolajaye said the governor's infrastructural projects had demonstrated his commitment to the development of the ancient city and improved the welfare of its residents.

He urged the electorate to reciprocate Adeleke's gesture by supporting and voting for him, saying the governor deserved commendation for his achievements.

"I am happy, rejoicing and dancing because I witnessed the new dawn in Ile-Ife.

"I am happy about his good works and urge the electorate to reciprocate the good gesture of Gov. Ademola Adeleke with their votes," he said.

According to him, the construction of the flyover was a major development that would transform the city.

The Foundation President added that the project had changed the destiny of Ile-Ife, stressing that the city needed the flyover to address its transportation and traffic challenges.

He described those opposing the project as being against the development of Ile-Ife, urging residents to appreciate the governor's efforts in improving infrastructure in the city.
